ThatsMyQuant uses the information below to run this quant interview practice service. This policy explains what the site collects and how to contact us about it.
Account and practice information
When you create an account, Firebase Authentication handles your email address, account identifier, password credentials or Google sign-in, and any profile name you provide. ThatsMyQuant uses your verified sign-in to protect your account. We store your notes, bookmarks, solved status, and saved practice sessions so you can continue across devices.
Payments and support
Stripe handles checkout and card information. ThatsMyQuant stores purchase identifiers, the selected plan, amount, payment status, and access dates. We do not store your full card number or security code. If you contact support, we store your email, message, request category, and any account reference needed to help you. Please do not send passwords or card details.
Optional analytics
Analytics are off until you choose “Allow analytics.” When allowed, we record a random identifier for your current browser session, a broad referral source, visit time, account creation, first saved solved problem, and live checkout starts. We do not include notes, email addresses, full referral URLs, or recordings of your browsing in analytics. Account events use a hashed identifier to avoid duplicate counts.
Your preference is saved in this browser’s local storage. The random visit identifier uses session storage. You can turn analytics off below; this stops future optional events and clears the current visit identifier. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Aggregate confirmed order totals come from purchase records and are separate from optional analytics.
Hosting and embedded video
The service uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare for delivery and database storage, Firebase for authentication, and Stripe for payments. These providers process information needed to supply their services, including technical connection and security data. Our own public forms use short-lived hashes of network addresses to limit abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in those tables.
The landing page loads a thumbnail from YouTube and loads the YouTube player only when you press play. YouTube receives connection information when its assets load. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain; YouTube’s own policies still apply. See Google’s privacy policy, Stripe’s privacy policy, and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
How we use and share information
We use information to provide accounts and practice tools, fulfill purchases, answer requests, improve the service, and prevent misuse. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers on this site. Access is limited to the site operator and service providers that need it. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to investigate abuse.
Retention and your choices
Account and study records remain while your account is active or until you request deletion. Analytics events older than 90 days are removed when new events are processed. Public-form rate-limit records expire after 20 minutes and are cleared during subsequent requests. Support requests are retained while needed to resolve your issue and can be included in a deletion request. Purchase and security records may need to be retained for accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
You can edit your notes and practice progress in the app. To request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your information, use support. We may verify account ownership before acting. Available rights depend on where you live. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
